Adventure Itinerary in the Lacandon Jungle

Departure: 5:30 am from the hotel in Palenque. We will embark on a journey full of excitement and unforgettable landscapes.

We will make a stop for breakfast at 7:30 am, where you can enjoy delicious local dishes that will give you the energy you need for the day.

Adventure on the Lacanja River

We will continue to Lacanja Chansayab, a Lacandon community, where specialized rafting guides will be waiting for us. Get ready for an exhilarating experience as we descend the Lacanja River in the jungle for over 2 hours. This activity is not only a challenge but also an opportunity to connect with nature in its purest state.

Hiking in the Jungle

At the end of the descent, a Lacandon guide will accompany us on a hike through the jungle. For approximately 2 hours, we will appreciate the incredible flora and fauna of the area. You will be surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and views that will take your breath away.

Additionally, get ready to cool off! We will have the opportunity to swim in one of the stunning waterfalls that the guide will recommend, an experience that will undoubtedly be a highlight of the day.

Rest and Return

After this day full of exploration, we will return to the village to enjoy a delicious local meal and time to rest and recharge.

Finally, we will start our way back to the city of Palenque, with an estimated arrival at the hotel at 8:00 pm. It will be the perfect ending to a day full of adventure and connection with nature.
